Producida con insumos locales, permitir\u00e1 la realizaci\u00f3n de 100 mil testeos al mes.<\/h5>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Ela-chemstrip es un nuevo test molecular argentino para identificar SARS-CoV-2, el pat\u00f3geno que causa la enfermedad covid-19. Luego del hisopado nasofar\u00edngeo, el resultado se procesa en tan solo 45 minutos y se visibiliza en una tira reactiva, similar al popular Evatest. A diferencia de otros m\u00e9todos de testeo, permite el diagn\u00f3stico de personas infectadas con s\u00edntomas y sin ellos, no utiliza un equipamiento costoso ni muy sofisticado y la gran mayor\u00eda de sus insumos (m\u00e1s de un 80%) son de industria argentina. Fue desarrollado por investigadores de la Universidad Nacional de Quilmes y la Universidad Nacional de San Mart\u00edn, gracias a la participaci\u00f3n de sus empresas de base tecnol\u00f3gica, Productos Bio-L\u00f3gicos y Chemtest, respectivamente. De manera reciente recibi\u00f3 el visto bueno de Anmat y, seg\u00fan comentan los referentes, su aplicaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda ser masiva, pues est\u00e1n en condiciones de producir 100 mil kits al mes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl primer caso de un infectado fue el 3 de marzo y el 8 nos empezamos a mover para hallar una soluci\u00f3n urgente para el diagn\u00f3stico de covid-19. Con el equipo de la UNQ nos hab\u00edamos cruzado en el \u00faltimo concurso Innovar de noviembre y supe que nuestros trabajos podr\u00edan complementarse en cualquier momento. Lo que jam\u00e1s iba a adivinar es que ser\u00eda en un contexto de pandemia. Cuando llam\u00e9 a los cient\u00edficos de Quilmes ya estaban trabajando en algo desde el d\u00eda anterior. Luego, solo qued\u00f3 coordinar tareas y la comunicaci\u00f3n fluy\u00f3 excelente. Solo por eso tuvimos resultados tan r\u00e1pidos\u201d, describe Diego Comerci, referente del proyecto del Instituto de Investigaciones Biotecnol\u00f3gicas de la Universidad Nacional de San Mart\u00edn y l\u00edder de Chemtest.<\/p>\n<div id=\"talkFireEvent\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cNosotros ten\u00edamos much\u00edsima experiencia en metodolog\u00edas de amplificaci\u00f3n in vitro de \u00e1cidos nucleicos y hab\u00edamos desarrollado una variante isot\u00e9rmica \u00fatil para otros pat\u00f3genos. Desde la UNSAM nos aportaron un kit de detecci\u00f3n con tiritas reactivas que ya hab\u00edan elaborado para dengue.
